 Hepatic Encephalopathy

For Hepatic Encephalopathy,  ICD-10 has two codes: one for “without coma” and another for with “with coma”. Remember, that coma is a spectrum of disease and you can use the Glascow Coma Scale to describe the patient on that scale.
